Hi guys! I'm building my first proper desktop tower and I was wondering what you guys think about it. I've done a bit of research and pretty much chosen parts with relatively high ratings and made sure they're compatible. I already bought the GPU a year ago but I haven't round to getting the rest of he parts (until now!) and a friend of mine will give me the case as he won't be using it anymore. I'm trying to fit in a budget of about £900-1000.

I am mainly going to use it for playing games, hopefully get a 144hz monitor further down the line. I'd also like to get into 3D modelling, so I'm hoping this rig will allow me to do that.

Let me know what you think! :)

AMD is better value for money and you can upgrade to a better CPU like the 3900x/3950x down the line, but if you are more inclined towards gaming and planning to stick with this build for a long time, then the 9900k is an equally compelling option.
