New build: RAM speed is 3200MHz in bios, but only 2133 in Task Manager

Hello. I used XMP Profile 1 to get my RAM to run at the 3200MHz it is rated for. In the BIOS it shows my RAM working correctly at 3200 MHz speed. However, in Task Manager it shows my speed as only being 2133.

Which one is correct, and if the Task Manager is correct, how do I fix it so my RAM runs at the proper speed? Ram and motherboard linked below. Here's a pic of my TM RAM speed: https://i.imgur.com/JgbEA8T.png

edit: downloaded CPU-Z and it shows my DRAM as 1600. Supposed to multiply that by 2 right, so it's technically reading correctly as 3200? So BIOS and CPU-Z report correct speed, but Task Manager reports incorrect?

What where you doing when you looked at the speed the memory was running at in task manager.
It may be because the memory was practically Idle, and the speed may change if you run a more intensive system test putting load on the memory, where it may clock the speed up.

Don`t forget you may have to update the motherboard to a more recent version of the bios firmware of the motherboard in order to get 3200Mhz rated memory speeds.

Or it may be to do with the actual cpu model version you have if Intel based in respect to the maximum FSB or memory speed it can run as a maximum.

Have a check to a new bios update firmware file to see if it adds support for running memory at 3200Mhz speeds.
Or what the maximum FSB and memory speed the cpu can run at, especially if the memory controler is part of the cpu die package.

I was idle when I checked, but I just started Titanfall 2 and it shows the same 2133MHz speed in Task Manager. CPU-Z still shows 1600x2 for 3200. I checked my mobo bios page and it appears there is only one official version currently, and a few beta versions which don't appear to have changes to the way it handles memory speeds at first glance: http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z270%20Extreme4/#BIOS.

The CPU I have is an i7 7700k running at stock speed.

CPUIZ nb frequency keep hitting like 4200mhz and 2133 x 2 = 4266 so boosted ram? lol

I have the same issue . . .
Ryzen 1700x clocked to 3.90
gskill ddr4-2400 2x8gb
B350 msi tomahawk mb

CPU-Z shows 1199.7MHz (2400) on each stick of Ram and shows the correct voltage and clocks. (15/15/15/35)

Task manager still shows default 1067MHz or 2133

I fixed it a long long time ago. Just enter your bios and enable XMP profile 1. Problem will be fixed. Also Task Manager doesn't report ram speeds correctly. Use something third party such as Speccy or any other software that reports RAM info.
