Hi there

I just build myself a new PC
The specks are :
Mother board : Asus z170 pro gaming
PSU : Corsair CX750M
GPU : Geforce GTX 1070 strix gaming
CPU : i7 6700K
CPU Cooling : Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo
Ram : Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000Mhz CL15 Vengeance
Case : Corsair Carbide 400C

I was done with the build (my first build) on monday , everything was fine in the beggining but the next day the PC shut itslef down after few hours of playing BF 1 and Witcher 3 . The screen went black and the PC shot it slef down , The leds on the motherboard and the GPU(small white one) was lit . I wasnt able to turn it on again after about 1 hour .
I think that the main problem here is the PSU .The fan in the PSU is making loud noises and i have heard that a lot of people have problems with those PSU's . And from time to time the pc restarts it self due to surges on PSU , the error says : "Power Supply Surges detected during the previous power on.
ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit! "
I have heard thats a common problem with Asus and its motherboards but on this case i think its the PSUs fault .
Here is a ling to a pic with most of the voltages and temperatures :

Pic with info

Solution
The pc shutting down with a black screen sounds like a power delivery problem. Coupled with odd noises from the psu fan (it shouldn't be making weird noises), it sounds like the internals of the psu are overheating to the point of shutting itself down. If there's a problem with the fan it can't properly cool itself. Just my best guess, I'd opt for a better quality psu and replace it.

If it's still within warranty it should be covered under rma. Tell them it's shutting down, losing power and the cooling fan sounds bad if that's the case. Psu's come with tamper proof labels usually and the end user isn't supposed to go opening them up and tinkering around. Meaning if there's a fan problem inside the psu case that's on them to fix, not you.
Looking at that picture and going with that hwmonitor is correct do the +12v voltages go out of spec when going under 11.4V so better would be to get a decent psu.
You don't need a 750watt psu with these parts,a good quality 550watt would already be fine, but if you feel more comfortable with 650watt should that be fine too. Only if looking at sli in the future is 750watts a necessity.

Another imo more accurate tool is the next,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run".
you can double check with this tool, don't run them at the same time,no need for that.
Of course would testing with a multimeter be the best thing,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ac7YMUcMjbw
can be done with the psu in the case and the pc running, just use an unused molex output, the yellow/black wires.

So it is the PSU after all ... To bad i dont have a Multimeter .
I have downoaded the winfo64 and i will run few tests .
The 12V usualy stays att the 12.096V

After few tests the min voltage was 11.6 and the maximum was almost 12.2
And one more question , why cant i turn on my computer for almost 2 hours after the shutdown ?

And do you think that they will accept this as reason for a warranty ?

Update.
The PC turned itself down without running any games or editing software... I just turned it on and after 15 min of webbrowsing it just turned off... Please help...

Its Antec BP500U a realy old one but still working .
Would CORSAIR PSU RM650X 650W for a new PSU be good ?
And what if its not the PSUs fault ?

And this time the PC turned it self on a little bit earlier than usually ... I took like 30 min this time but it started not directly after pushing the power button but after 10/15 seconds , it was a pleasant surprise .

The older,as you say good working psu, sholdl be able to power that system,so imo can you test with it.
It's most likely the psu anyway,so a better one is adviced or rma as suggested (would be wise anyway.Maybe you can get a refund and get the newer black/white Corsiar CXM,it's better, unless you already have that one of course :).

Damn ... Why didnt i check the forum earlier ... I would buy the new PSU right away ... Now its a bit to late and the store is closed . Is it safe to play a bit or there is a chance that the GPU or CPU or other components will get damaged ? Im currently using a corsair CM750M do you want me to buy another one from this series ? Would a Corsair CX 600M 600W be good ?II dont think i would want another one from those series since this one was kinda shitty 😛 Shouldnt i buy a gold certified one and
sorry but im not that good with PSU brands , names and models .

The CX600m is also not very good. That's the green/black series, not very good. Look for the new white/black series if you want to look at the Corsair CXM line. These are 450/550/650/750watt.
For some guidance with what to look for at the local shop can you look at tiers 1+2 in the next list,
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html#15349669
if not within budget would tier 3 be fine as well.Arguments are made over this list, but it still is a decent guidance. The CXM you find in tier 4,but that's the old green/black series, not the new white/black series.

So i guess the Corsair RM650i would be the best choice

Well anything in range of 100-160£ would go 😛
But since you have nothing against the Corsair RM650i than i will go with this one

Well im from Sweeden :) But this is site from UK so i wanted to adjust myself .
Do you think that there will be a big diffrence ? I can choose between :
http://www.cddata.se/partdetail.aspx?q=p:8264691
http://www.cddata.se/partdetail.aspx?q=p:8163278
or http://www.cddata.se/partdetail.aspx?q=p:8104143

Im willing to pay a lil bit extra if there will be difference

Damn it ... The only decent PSU they had was Cooler Master B700 v2 ...
Tbh i wasnt sure becouse i couldnt find it on the tier list unless it is called the V series on the tier list but i doubt that .

Last question. Few of my friends said that 650w will not be enough, I'm not sure why the opinions on the power of the PSU are so different. Are you sure that 650 is enough?
