Recently built my spouse a new desktop and everything was working great for about a week. Now it will no longer start giving the solid red DRAM status light for 15 seconds then flash CPU light then back to DRAM for another 15 repeating. Nothing on monitor but all other internal lights on and fans working. I've tried resetting the CMOS with the battery. Also reapplied all major power connections to motherboard/cpu and troubleshot with each Ram slot. Thanks for any help you guys have! Below are the specs:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
GIGABYTE B450 AORUS M
Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz C16 Memory Kit CMK16GX4M1A2666C16
MSI Radeon RX 580
Silicon Power 1TB SSD
Thermaltake Versa H18 Tempered Glass Black SPCC Micro ATX Gaming Computer Case

Either the RAM or MB, or CPU has problem.
  1. Check the cpu to see there is any bent pin(s) or not.
  2. Test only one stick RAM, or try other RAM if you have extra RAM.
  3. If you don't have compatible part, ask someone for help, like local PC shop, or your friend.

Ram was the culprit. CPU pins were all correct and due to my poor choice of only buying a single stick of 16 GB RAM I couldn't test it at first. So because all previous tests with CPU, MB, RAM that could be done without swapping pieces out I started with the least expensive one RAM. Just ordered another batch, this time 2x 8 GB sticks. They worked so I returned the first one to Amazon. However if the new RAM didn't work on arrival I was going to take it to a local shop.
