[SOLVED] New build - struggling to install windows 10 - 0xc0000098 error

Hi guys,

I've just bought my dream pc (specs below).

I am trying to install windows 10 with a usb flash drive. I am asked which version I would like to install (64/32) and then I I hit the black error screen (Windows failed to start 0xc0000098 error).

The usb seems fine (will work on another PC). I have tried changing the boot priority. Currently bios is set to optimized defaults. I have fiddled a little with teh bios based on what I have found online, but nothing seems to be working.

Ideally would like to run windows from the NVME.

Please help!

latest iso from MS?

Brand new out the box USB from MS, but I haven't checked the iso version. Eventually, I just burnt another USB from the MS website and that did the trick. New rig is up and running! I am relieved but also a little pissed; I struggled for ages trying to figure this out. More than I care to admit.
