You can upgrade your hard drive to the seagate barracuda 2tb which is a steal. If you want some more performance add a SSD.

no need to get a sandy bridge cpu. get ivy 3570k. imo this is would be a lot better. has a 660ti the 660 you had has a reference blower and they can be loud. added a 1TB hdd and a 128GB ssd. a $1100 computer without an ssd is doing yourself a disservice. watch the video below to see why you want a ssd. $60 on a non mechanical keyboard is a lot. but i wont even try suggesting a keyboard/mouse since they are so subjective.

right now the gtx 660 is "the bottom edge" at playing games with max settings; for $210 that cannot be beat.

for the games you listed (w/o googling for benchmarks ATM) i am sure you won't have any problems with it. i am a bit of a fan of this site when wanting to compare my hardware with games i am interested at playing:

it may not be the most accurate in terms of FPS but it will give you an indication of what would be "playable" settings for you.

i am as sure as possible w/o having a crystal ball you'll be fine for the next several months . . . maybe a year depending what game and settings you want.

I suggest dropping the expensive keyboard and mouse. $100 could buy you a SSD/faster card and i do think that you will get a better gaming experience out of a SSD/faster card then out of a better mouse/keyboard.

I forgot to add that I am going for a color scheme, All black and white. So I really don't want to stray from that. If you guys could list a few different cards that would be awesome. I switched out the 2500k for 3570k, keeping the same CM Storm Stryker. I had the HAF X 942, which I loved, along with the Corsair Vengance C70 and hated it.

NOTE: I had just sold my 3 month old system and profited 200$. i5-2500k Asrock Extreme 4, ASUS GeForce GTX 560 DirectCU II Fermi OC, HAF X 942 Case.

color scheme is nice and everything but i don't get spending more money just for the color. unless you have some ridiculous $3000+ budget and money is no object. get the best parts for the price/performance. in all reality how often will you actually look in the case window?

Every day my friend, every day. Lol joking, but I have an OCD problem. So its important to me. Any other suggestions on graphics card? I can go more expensive on the card, that is OK. I had just realized I have new hdds never used at home....Lol

does the card have to have white on it? like the evag cards? if so you dont have much of a choice. now that im looking at colors of your first build the case is the only thing that's white. everything else is black/brown and will just all blend. the extreme4 is an ugly brown color not black.

looks good but for the same price you can get the 128GB SanDisk Extreme. it uses toggle nand which is better then the intel nand in the hyperx.

^Added that, but I am still uncertain about the GFX. I want to spend the money on a good one. I went with the GTX 560 from Asus last time and I really liked the graphics, they were sweet. jonjonjon, you were saying the 660 I have listed is loud.

yea reference blowers can be loud. watch the video below for the 670 reference blower. my friend has a asus 560ti and 660ti and they are both dead silent at max fan speed. nothing like a reference card.

Isn't the referenz better because they dont allow the hot air to free flow into the case?

yes and no. it blows the hot air out of the back of the case but they are usually really loud. if you have a good case with decent air flow the aftermarket coolers will usually be quieter and keep the gpu cooler.
