New build system fans won't work

Okay so I made myself a computer and every time I try to plug in my system fans the computer won't turn on. I looked on the motherboard for the cables it is it wired the wrong way. Is there anything I can do it's causing my computer to become hot. Thanks

ok we need more info. is the CPU fan spinning? how many fans are there and what are they plugged into? can you boot into windows?

None of the fans will spin nothing turns on with the system when the system fans are plugged it. Btw 2 fans in the case. So nothing starts won't boot or anything when the system fans are in.

so the system boots without the fans plugged in? are they molex connectors plugged into the PSU or 3/4 pin fan headers plugged into the motherboard?

It is a three pin connector plugged into the motherboard and yes system boots fine with fans plugged in
