It has 5 fans. The NZXT source 530 has only 2 and won't cool high-end graphics cards properly IMO.

You don't need a 650 for a single gtx 770, the card only uses 230 watts at full load. I would recommend getting a corsair, antec, xfx, or seasonic power supply, rather than the nzxt.

True. nVidia recommends "600W minimum". However, I don't like any 600W PSU these days

Get the large 850W so you don't have to pay for BOTH power supplies.

I like the 300R, but it costs more after you add more fans. It comes with only two fans and I think it needs more for a GTX 770, let alone for two of them. Still voting for the Rosewill Blackhawk...

For 2 cards, with a liquid cooler, 10 fans, and 3 hard drives, youd be using just under 700 watts. To make some "Room" to overclock your cpu, I'd get an 800ish watt power supply, though a high quality 750 would probably do ok.http://extreme.outervision.com/ is a great tool to estimate the wattage of your build.

I'm only purchasing a few parts at a time. Should I get "certain" parts before others? I would hate to get a DOA PSU and not know it until the build is complete and I have no power

Thats kinda hard to do really, but I would get the stuff that's required to make it run. CPU, mobo, ram, psu, case. That way if any of those things is having issues, you'll know it and be able to get them rma'd before you finish the system up.

Thanks for the advice. Another question. In BIOS do I have the system boot from the SSD or should it always have it set to boot from optical drive?

I'd pick SSD, after installing Windows. You can always change it back if you have to.
