Time to build a new one! My current PC is starting to show its age.

Please let me know if I have anything that can be swapped out for anything better. All help is appreciated!

Fan/Heatsink:

Would like suggestions, I am having a hard time trying to find a good that that will be sure to fit the case.

Looks more expensive and I honestly do not think I would be maxing out the AMD Phenom II X4 955. All I plan on doing is gaming. Please correct me if I am wrong.

4 cores are greater than 2 considering most games are turning towards more than 2 cores now. also as it stands the amd build is still cheaper.
Thank you for the help, cheaper is definitely the way I want to stay. It's not easy being a single father, lol. I plan on getting a pink case and transferring my current hardware to it for my daughter as a surprise.

considering the way you put this across to the op its not helping as he wants the listed items but is asking for a little help in getting things cheaper.
if you had any sense you know full well that atm amd is cheaper and is definitly no slouch in gaming.
thanks for helping me figure out i had no sense

i do aplogize deadpool for rising to it.
on topic: are u happy with my recommendations?
if u need some more information just type in google for gpu benchmarks corresponding to which gpu you want to see or have interest in.
6950 or 6970 ect.

I am happy with the recommendations, I will look into other motherboards to see if I can find anything less expensive but not too cheap on the specs. Thank you very much!
