New Build troubleshooting

Hi All, just built a PC for my son (my first build). Two issues that I could use help with.....
1: I have a GB x470 Aorus Gaming 5 WIFI Motherboard. However I can only connect to the internet via Ethernet. I assumed the WIFI enable MOBO should be able to be used straight away ? I don't get an option to connect wirelessly? Do I still need to get a wifi adapter/card?
2: I have a SSD and HDD however system only recognises the SSD. Have checked cabling to PSU and MOBO... Any help welcomed..

Hi,
1. Have you installed the WLAN diver? http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Driver/mb_driver_intel_wifi_20.60.0.7.zip
2. Try in disk management and see if drive detected. If yes, right click, initialize and format it.

Thanks.. Issue 2 resolved, Appreciated...However still working on issue 1, even though downloaded wifi driver, and restarted system, still only Ethernet showing as option.

No It isn't listed.... That's the issue... I cant see it under network adaptors at all.... Cheers

Managed to work it out. You were correct I had downloaded the driver, but I needed to run it to install it. Now visible and working fine... Thanks again
