(Full PcPartPicker build listed at bottom of post.)
Hey guys!

I'm looking for
  • A good motherboard to pair with the Ryzen 9 3900x.
  • CPU AIO water cooler. Something I can trust for the next 3-5 years and decent price.
  • I do have a Noctua NH-U14S CPU Cooler but people keep telling me to go AIO Water w/OC.
I figured i'd list all my current questions/issues
This post is fully centered on my Motherboard! I'm trying to buy one today if I can.

Looking for
-A reliable manufacturer
-I'd like to do overclocking.
-A good reliable Bios
-Easy to use RGB (first time with RGB)
-Some decent bells and whistles
-$200-$400 CAD range
- I'll be doing most/all shopping at Memory Express so hopefully they will have it.

The most important things to me is reliable manufacturer with stable bios. Less headaches the better. Since its not coming thru the mail, DoA's / returns / dealing with manufacturer won't be an issue. Memory express will take care of everything. (At least at first. Long term stability is important)

Also keep in mind memory express will price beat any Canadian store (Yay PcPartPicker!!)
I'm sure most of my concerns are overkill but peace of mind is still nice.
(I'm a "once every 3-5 years" type buyer)

Any help is greatly appreciated :)
Thanks!

I just have a small question to pin here at the bottom

I have a 5-10 year old Power Supply
Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 1200 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

This was before that big change happened with Power Supplys and you would buy 750w-1500w on big builds. Then one day I learned you no longer used such high watt PS anymore.
Should I still be using this power supply that's so old? Haven't had problems yet but I do plan to OC and get a RTX 2080TI. Little worried about the cables being out of date. If I don't use it then its going to my friend. 1200w is just overkill especially on his build. No matter what I'll be buying another PS. Either i'll take the 1200w or the new one.

Build list isn't bad at all, assuming the parts $0.00 are already owned. The NH-C14S will fit in that SS case nicely, with room to spare.

I'd bump up the ram though, sweet spot for 3k series cpus is 3600 although that 3200/14 isn't too shabby.

A decent 650w psu is all that's really needed, but the Silent Pro is a decent unit and shouldn't have any issues lasting another 5 years. My only complaints being at 1200w it should have been Platinum rated and should have been 50°C continuous, not 40°C continuous. But with the intended load usage, it's not like the fan will need to spin at all.

It's a shame prices are so high now but it can't be helped I guess.

The PSU I would keep it if it's 5 years old or replace it if it's nearer 10 years old.
Thanks for the reply!!
Is there an equal alternative that memory express may have? Should I stick with ASUS, are they a good MoBo brand?

also do you have much knowledge on RGB? Should I get a board with RGB headers? Are RGB controllers come from the MoBo bios?
Thanks

Not sure I can't seem to load memory express website so no clue which boards they sell. I don't know much about RGB I think most motherboards come with the headers
