I tried my first build and miserably failed. I really need help.

Motherboard guide: download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-h110m-a_e.pdf
PC build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/YMVDbv

No post checklist:

1.Did you carefully read the motherboard owners manual? Yes

2. Did you plug in the 4/8-pin CPU power connector located near the CPU socket? I plugged a 4 pin into the ATX 12v

3.Did you install the standoffs under the motherboard? bottom 2 motherboard holes had brass standoffs (that came with the case) to be at the same height as the top 4 holes

4.Did you verify that the video card is fully seated? yes, I pushed it in to the motherboard and heard a click and the motherboard locked onto it

5.Did you attach ALL the required power connector(s) to the video card? yes- two 6pin VGA cables into the r9 380

6. Have you tried booting with just one stick of RAM installed? only have 1 stick of 8gb DDR4 ram

7.Did you verify that all memory modules are fully inserted? i pressed it pretty damn hard until i heard a click from the motherboard and it locked onto it

8.Did you verify in the owners manual that you're using the correct RAM slots? there is no specific ram slot i need to use (per the guide)

9.Did you remove the plastic guard over the CPU socket? haha yes

10.Did you install the CPU correctly? yes, CPU arrow with the motherboard arrow, and the notches allowed me to fit it snuggly

11.Are there any bent pins on the motherboard/CPU? damnit. yes there is on the motherboard.

12. If using an after market CPU cooler, did you get any thermal paste on the motherboard, CPU socket, or CPU pins? stock cooler

13.Is the CPU fan plugged in? yes

14. If using a stock cooler, was the thermal material on the base of the cooler free of foreign material, and did you remove any protective covering? If the stock cooler has push-pins, did you ensure that all four pins snapped securely into place? yes there was material on the fan that went onto the cpu

15. Are any loose screws laying on the motherboard, or jammed against it? Are there any wires run directly under the motherboard? nope

16.Did you ensure you discharged all static electricity before touching any of your components? I did touch the metal case before touching things, but i don't know for sure if i discharged it all

18.Did you read the instructions in the manual on how to properly connect the front panel plugs? yes. but there was no indication in the guide for positives and negatives for reset switch or HD. maybe I should flip them around?

I stopped there to make this thread. I wanted to try breadboarding before I try this, but I saw the bent pin on the motherboard. is that likely the culprit? I don't know if i should continue with a bent pin.

Other things that may be useful:
- Fans and power did not turn off like usual when I accidentally turned the PC on without the ATX V12 pin plugged in.
- My monitor works fine with HDMI on my laptop. I tried HDMI on both the graphics and motherboard and DVI on the graphics card and no signal.
- My MOBO does not come with speakers. Would I be able to use the ThermalTake case speakers? It has a "HD audio" pin connected to the front
- MOBO only has a 4pin ATX V12 plug. My PSU has a cable that has 2x 4pin.

Solution
Update: I breadboarded the motherboard and it worked! I think the RAM wasn't seated properly, even though it clicked. The bios showed on the screen. I even breadboarded with the graphics card and used DVI. However, when I tried to attach the motherboard to the case, it started to turn on and off again in 10 second cycles. At least I know it can work and that my MOBO wasnt DOA
