Hello, I just bought my components within the past few weeks for my first build. At first, I threw the whole system together, turned it on, and it worked fine... except I couldn't display anything on the monitor. After adjusting my cables, I turn it on, and it just shuts off immediately, and turns back on, then shuts off, and it repeats this process.
I decided to start over and breadboard, as I want to make sure each component is functioning.
Right now, I have the MOBO, PSU, 1 stick of RAM, CPU, and HSF. I as soon as I turn on the system, all fans come on, but the system shuts off after two seconds.
I am trying to narrow down the possibilities. I thought it was the PSU, tested it, but the paper clip test was positive... so it must be the MOBO or CPU.
Does anyone have any idea of what the problem is?
