Need a better* build for gaming under $1000 -$1200, including all the other components like monitor, sound system, keyboard/mouse, case. I still have my old build if y'all can see if there's anything I can reuse that'll be great.
Don't want to spend too high on the monitor or the case.

Depends on use, I would go with Ryzen 5 if you use programs that can utilize the extra threads.
