New build unresponsive

I started my first PC build a couple days ago. I got up to installing the cpu, cpu fan, ram, and gpu, and hooked up the motherboard to the psu. The motherboard got standby lighting and nothing else happened, no fans, nothing on the monitor. I've tried multiple psus, gone through troubleshooting guides, checked to be sure everything is plugged into the right place multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, same problem.

Motherboard: Asus Prime X470-PRO
RAM: 1x8G G.Skill #F4-2666C19S-8GNT DDR4-2666 1.20V
CPU cooler: Stock
Video Card: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6G. #06G-P4-6161-KR
Power Supply: EVGA Supernova 750 G2
Hard drive(s): N/A
Operating System: N/A
Case :Cougar MX330

Try the RAM in a different slot. (you should have bought 2x4GB RAM for dual-channel, but that's not causing the problem).

Thank you for the response. I have tried the RAM in every slot to no avail.

I found my solution. I had to jumpstart the motherboard. I thought I'd attempted it correctly before, but apparently not.
