a friend asked me to help figure out a build for him, but i haven't really kept up with hardware much so i was hoping to get some advice.

Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: ~2 months, 3 max

Budget Range: 1800-2000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, general internet use

Are you buying a monitor: Yes, see below

Do you need to buy OS: No

Parts Preferences: no brand preference

Overclocking: likely no, but possible

SLI or Crossfire: no

he said he has no preference for 4K, but would like dual monitors

are any big changes in available hardware happening within the next 2 months or so?

Thats great for the price,if he cant wait, I would def do it. Just seems like like the new refresh of Zen on 12nm is due to Feb / March.. Might be worth waiting.
