Bios will not post
I've upgraded my pc. I had an amd fx 8350 with am4+ socket mobo (I think). I'm now attempting to install my new i5 8600k with asrock z370 extreme 4. I've installed all wires, cpu, main 20+4, hard drive, power switches etc. I don't think I've missed a wire, but it's possible I suppose.
Turned the computer on. All fans operate, and the leds on the mobo work also. Bios will not post and I see no activity on the monitor.
Is it a possible issue that I switched from amd to Intel? Do drivers on the hard drive have anything to do with it? I just have no idea where to go from here. I've built 3 pcs in the past and this is the first issue I've had
