Question New build with B660 DDR5 board ?

Hi Guys,

I started building new pc rather exciting im just wanting to know if my old psu which is a Corsair CX600 will work with new parts ?
I have noticed on this board there are 2 * 8 cpu power pin connectors however this psu has 18 cpu power pin connector from what i understand the 2 18 cpu power connector is for overclocking which i wont be doing? where my old board the z77-ds3h use a 4pin cpu power connector only? Havent done a new build in 10 years last time upgrade was the ivy bridge days.

Mobo : msi mortar b660 ddr5
cpu : 12400f
GPU: gALAX rtx 3060
case GMC H80 ( aslso old mech looking case)
I will have 3 27inches monitors one running upstream usb hooked up as well.
1 *4 port powered usb hub
7.1 logitech speakers

your input will be helpfull guys?

Ar this point DDR5 makes no sense. Buy the ddr4 version.
With the price difference for RAM, invest in a new PSU rather than using a 10 year old cluncker

for this board do i need to use both 8pin eps connectors for new power supply or just the 1 and it will work fine? they are 2 8 pin connectors...

Only one is OK.
The second is for heavy overclocking or much more power hungry CPUs.
For a 12400f, one is absolutely fine
