Hey so I am doing an out of the case test and I am not getting any display or sounds. All the fans are working on the CPU the MOBO lights come on and so does the GPU fans and lights. I have connected the power cables to the GPU the MOBO and to the CPU. And I have tried moving the RAM around to different spots and only using 1 stick at a time.

Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Hero

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1150

GPU: ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16

PSU: EVGA 120-G1-0650-XR 650W ATX12V / EPS12V

RAM: G.SKILL AEGIS 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Monitor: BenQ GL2760H GL2760H Black 27" 2ms HDMI Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor TN Panel

I have also tried HDMI and D-Sub

I have also tried getting a display without using the GPU and just the onboard graphics and no success.

Solution
Yup should be fine

I think theres an led on the mobo when it flashes this should flash.; When it finishes updating this led should stop flashing

It isn't possible to take a picture at the moment my phone was left in a friends car earlier today lol. But the build is outside the case. Everything is connected and working but there is no display and I am not sure what to do. It may have to do with the bios version because when I was checking out on PCPartpicker it said that I may need a bios update with the cpu and mobo but wouldn't it still display?

If I am looking in the right spot the last 4 numbers are "0711"

Thats what the prob is it needs a BIOS update. Since this supports USB BIOS flashback download the BIOS update

Extract it / rename it / copy it to a flash drive. Then follow the manual under USB BIOS flashback

Lucky for you it supports USB BIOS flashback. Otherwise the only way to fix it is to go to a shop and ask them to do it. Or you would have to buy a CPU it supports then do it

So when I do this do i need to remove the GPU, CPU and RAM? And do you know a tutorial for this I have never had to do this lol.

I am reading it as I type this. It says:
1.Insert the USB Flash disk that contains the latest BIOS file to the USB port
2.Enter the Advanced Mode of the BIOS setup program. Go to the Tool menu to select ASUS EZ Flash Utility and press <enter> to enable it
3.Press <tab> to switch to the Drive Field
4.Press the up/down keys to find the USB flash disk that contains the latest BIOS and then press <enter>
5.Press <tab> to switch to the folder info field
6.Press the up/down arrow keys to find the BIOS file and then press <Enter> to perform the BIOS update process. Reboot the system when the update process is done.

I am assuming that is the way I need to do it but I need the display to do it? Or will having the update on the USB allow me to see the BIOS screen?

USB BIOS flashback. You cant use ez flash. Since its not going

Like I said get the BIOS I posted above extract it / rename it to whatever the manual says. Under USB BIOS flashback

Then plug it into whatever USB port supports flashback, then press whatever button / maybe reset / flashback button on the3 back of the mobo to flash the BIOS

Oh sorry I misread what was above. Thanks I will report back soon.
