It’s my new build in 8 years. I primarily work with Game Engines and 3D simulators .

Here is my Build list via pcpartpicker.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/rtF8TW

I spent the whole afternoon putting the build together in a rather spacious H9 flow case only to be frustrated as it won’t boot.

It seems there is no power coming to the motherboard from power supply. I don’t have power supply checker tool so I don’t know any other way to check if power supply is working or not!
I have reset all the wired connections and gave another try but it just won’t start.

Here is the power supply

MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I feel as there is no power coming to the motherboard checking all the connections with motherboard is fruitless exercise even though I did it twice.

I don’t know how to troubleshoot the problem?

So if anyone gone through the same or has information , I will be forever be grateful for the help.
Thanks.

Your Pcpartpicker list is private, can't read it.

Rebuilt everything.

Checked power supply by doing paperclip test. It was working!! Yay!

Connected everything back together . Got power to motherboard. All fans working. AIO working. Graphics card fans working.
Rams with rgb lit up.
Happy days.

Not yet.
Now when I connect the set up to a display monitor using HDMI. It doesn’t recognise the device. Monitor goes to stand by declining to recognize the source..
It’s funny in a way.
I dont know why is this happening .
Any ideas ?
