I just put together a new build for my daughter with these components.

Msi H81M-P33 mobo
Intel Pentium G3258
Corsair CX430 psu
Asus GTX 750 ti
Arctic Alpine 11 cpu cooler
Seagate 1tb HDD
Deepcool Tesseract Case
2x 4gb Gskill Rip jaws DDR3 1600

When I tried to power it on for the first time, all the fans spin, the case fan led comes on in a blinking pattern. I am getting no video signal at all and no beeps from the system speaker. I am convinced however that the system speaker doesn't work, because even when I power it up with no ram sticks installed, I get no beeps.

So far I have tried booting with one ram stick installed. I tried both slots separately. I tried booting from the on board video with no gpu installed. I removed all components but 1 ram stick, the cpu, and the cpu cooler and tried with the same result. I then took the board out and just hooked in the same lineup of components and tried firing it sitting on top of the mobo box. That time the CPU fan did not spin. I looked under the CPU and all of the pins appear to be okay. I also tried every possible configuration for the front panel connectors. Following the diagram exactly for several tries, theN checking to see if I had anything backwards.

One thing I did notice and found strange is that the power button on the case never responded. The power switch on the psu just fired up all the fans And leds Without me pressing anything. The HDD activity light was blinking red no matter what I did.

I am at a loss for what to check next.

" I then took the board out and just hooked in the same lineup of components and tried firing it sitting on top of the mobo box. That time the CPU fan did not spin"

With only CPU, CPU cooler and case speaker installed, both 24 and CPU power cables connected (no other components or wires), try starting the board by shortly touching with a screwdriver the 2 pins on the motherboard corresponding to the case power button. See if the CPU fan does spin and if any beeps.
