Completely new build.

i7-8700k
gigabyte z370P D3 rev 1.0
Corsair - Vengeance RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
MSI 1070ti Duke
Coolermaster ML240L
Coolermaster masterbox mb500

On power up everything spins up and lights up. Not getting any video out, also not getting any indication of life at the mouse/keyboard (don't know if that matters)

Tried HDMI through the motherboard and GPU

Tried DVI into monitors from the GPU

No video out at all.

Changed out the 4x2 12v wire with the spare that was in the box,

Tried every combination of ram/no ram

Tried removing the GPU, resetting CMOS and going with the mobo video only.

Not sure what steps to try next.

PSU is:

SeaSonic - 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

SSD is:

Samsung - 970 Evo 500 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive

removed the SSD and still didn't get video.

Only "3" fans plugged in. the one in the back. Replaced the 2 in the front of the case with the radiator/fans, those are currently plugged into SYS_FAN 4 on the MOBO.

The rear fan is placed into SYS_Fan 1

The CPU cooler is placed into CPU_Fan.

Thanks so much for the reply!

Roger that.

Super bummer...

Build behaves the exact same when all ram is removed so that somewhat eliminates that yeah?

Everything is brand new on Newegg, maybe i should RMA the board and go from there...

should have come with your motherboard. It's a black plastic piece that covers the empty slot so the pins don't get damaged. If you threw it out, you can get another one for a couple bucks on Ebay. If you send it back without it, they might not accept the return.
