New Build won't turn on

Hi guys, I have a problem with my new build. after reading and following many tutorials, I finished plugging in all the cords and connectors but when I clicked switch on, nothing happens. No sounds, no fans moving, nothing.

my build:
Intel Core i7-4770K
ASRock Z87 Extreme4 (motherboard)
Corsair Builder 500W
G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Did you make sure that your 4-Pin Connectors are properly connected, especially the 24-pin? Make sure that the power switch of the PSU is on. In default, it's OFF (O), switch it ON (I).

Also make sure all your standoffs are screwed in properly and your not shorting the MB out anywhere

Thanks PSYCHSC2, I did not know that O is for Off! I double checked the plugs, they are intact.

Erick81, now those I haven't checked yet. Let me go research on them since this is my first time.

Alrighty! It's on. Turned out I have to switch the PSU to On (I), then press the power button on the motherboard itself. After that, I can freely click on the power on/off button from the case!
