Brand new build

I7 7700k
Asus ROG Maximus hero ix
Evga Gtx 1070 SC
Evga supernova 750 p2
Hyper fury 2666 ddr4

So I got everything all hooked up started installing windows 10. It seemed everything looked choppy and blurry but I thought it was because I didn't have drivers installed yet. After installing drivers it's still choppy and blurry like it's not using the 1070 at all. There seems to be no hd and I'm out of ideas what to do any help would be greatly appreciated.

Btw have the hdmi cord hooked up directly to the gtx 1070 to the monitor.

How you installed your drivers ?
Use Nvidia Geforce Experience software to download and update software.
If you installed your drivers from geforce experience and facing same issue, then you need to install drivers manually from nvidia site

http://www.geforce.com/drivers

First remove drivers that you installed. search on google if you don't know how to do this.
Then install manually from the link above and install it.

If problem still occurs, then try to change resolution of monitor in windows control panel.

If these things are not working, then I think there is problem with your graphic card.

Go to your bios and dissable the onboard graphics and make sure it uses pci instead then check device manager that it actualy finds the 1070.

And make sure you have the hdmi connected to the graphic card and not to the motherboard.

Thank you both so much for the responses I did what both of you recommended. It now works while playing games and looks stunning. For some reason videos are still scratchy is this normal? Thank you
