Ironhide CPU :
A part could be fried / damaged, rendering the whole build useless until that part is replaced, can you give any more details, you were a little vague about when it happened, what happens when you turn it on and what not.
Nothing happeneds at all. The odd time the power LED shows up. How do i pin point the fried part that my problem. At first I thought it was RAM but it would still show some sign of life without that, right?
All right, let's go through this....Try these in order:
1.) Unplug all the cords, and then try reseating everything (memory, video card, psu) and especially the CPU, you may have seated it wrong in the socket! After doing that, try turning it on.
2.) If the problem persists, take all the sticks of memory out until there's 1. Boot it up.
Depending on the motherboard, the memory slots might be single or dual channel, meaning if you the put the memory sticks in an incorrect order, the whole system won't boot correctly, or at all.
