New build z97-a gives boot_device_led red light

I just built a new system from scratch. After turning it on the first time the BIOS window came up and I set my time/date, and performance preference. Once I clicked "save and exit" it shut down and the "boot_device_led" light is now solid red. It powers up, fans run, but I can't see anything on my screen now and I can't even access the BIOS window.

other specs:
i5 4690k processor
2x8 ripjaws ram
geoforce gtx 970 video card
xtr 750 psu
noctua nh-d14 fan

1) Clear the CMSO by the jumper.
2) Reseat the drive ( either SSD or HDD ) cables.
3) Set the right boot order in the BIOS.

Thanks for the reply. I had problems with DRAM light on first boot up and had to unplug some stuff to get to what I needed. Then like an idiot I didn't put all my cables back. My EE brother caught the mistake and is making fun of me... Anyway it's working fine now.
