Hi there, I configured the above c over at pcspecialist.com without much knowledge of the individual part's performances. The pc will be used primarily for gaming. I will also be doing some casual photo/video editing and music editing/production.

Looking at the specs above is there anything obvious that you would swap/upgrade. Are there needless expenses? I know that I will be being charged more money than if I were to order the parts and build the pc myself but the extra money is worth the peace of mind that everything is going to work for me. :)

So yeah, i'd appreciate your advice on the matter

Cheers

Solution
I agree with mosox's drop the soundcard and get a 955BE.
I would also buy a GTX460 or 5850 over a 5830.

CPU, Hopefully not sound rude or that, but what are the advantages of quad-core? I've read that it's not fully utilised by games and only the likes of advanced video editing programs fully exploit the four cores?

Graphics, I'll check it out :)

Soundcard, yeah I was never sure about getting one

Thanks for the advice :)
