Great case. I thought about getting one myself but fell in love with the Silverstone Raven RV02.

Standard recommended gaming CPU these days, and should be good several years down the road as well.

I feel like one your budget you're short-changing yourself here. You can afford a better single card like the GTX 570/580, and then upgrade to SLI later. If you decide to upgrade a 550Ti/560Ti pair, you'd have to take out the old GPUs and purchase a new one/set. With the 580, you can just drop in a new one as the prices drop.

At the very least, I wouldn't go less than a 560Ti, as they're optimal for the price @ 1920x1080.

As the GPU choice changes, this will obviously change. For a healthy, efficient system, look for 650W for 1x560Ti, 750 for 2x560Ti or 1x570. SLI 580s requires a good 850W+ PSU

I would check the ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3. It supports SLI and has PCI-E 3.0 slots, which will be supported if you upgrade to an Ivy Bridge CPU.

Great cooler for the price. I've owned 2 and they performed very well.

If you can get them in Canada, get a Crucial M4 SSD. The OCZ drives have been having significant issues with the Sandforce 2000-series controllers, but the M4 has had very few issues (if at all).

so switched some items to these....let me know what you think.

EVGA SuperClocked 012-P3-1573-KR GeForce GTX 570 HD w/Display-Port (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Didnt switch the motherboard as it didnt seem to work with Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge 3.3GHz.

The 570 is a good card. How much more is it to get a card with AR and not KR at the end (lifetime warranty)? EVGA makes great GPUs.

The 750W PSU is great (one of the best), but it won't drive a dual-card set up if that's what you want ultimately. Just keep that in mind for the longevity of the build.

It's only one review that the 2500K won't OC (at least on the US Newegg site). It's not necessarily indicative of the board's performance; ASRock generally makes very good OCing boards.

Technically, 2x570s can run on that PSU, but you would be overstressing it a bit, which shortens the life and ruins the efficiencies (80+ certs are measured at 50-60% load). An 850W PSU shouldn't be that much more, and will give you a little more headroom to keep the PSU healthy.

So I went with this instead. A little over my budget but hopefully it will last a while and rock upcoming games when I get my 2nd 570 in it.

MSI N570GTX Twin Frozr III PE/OC GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

The video card I ended up going with. The case, video card, 2nd HD, windows 7 and new mouse should arrive tuesday. Already have the rest of the parts.

Went with this HD.
