Hello. Im looking for a build that will not exceed the 780 $ range. I know that I atleast want a 6770 in my MONSTOSITY MACHINE. But I'll get rid of it if the build exceeds 680 $

Order to greatest to least: gaming, gaming and yet more gaming ?

sli or crossfire: ROFL no

moniter resolution: meh 1440X900 or less I dont really see the differance between differant resolution's.

Overclocking: YES but only if it's a i5 2500k and it fits my budget.

Parts preferance: newegg or amazon, I dont trust any other's.

Additonal note's I want to fit a cooler master 922 case in there but there like 120 bucks rofl...or ill go with the xion classic case ....red. It's beast looking and fits 10.5 inch gpu's

Thank you !

OP says:
moniter resolution: meh 1440X900 or less I dont really see the differance between differant resolution's.

a HD 6870 is way over kill. if The OP thinks he may upgrade to a monitor 1920x1080 then there's enough left in his budget for a 6850.

an HD 6790 would be better than the HD 6770 for the OP price performance wise

Splendid

Non K CPU have limited OC so a P67 is still the prefer option unless there is absolutely no ocing, then OP can
select a H61 or H67.

Sure its possible...
But a 6870 on a non-overclocked i5-2500 is going to be a stronger gamer than an overclocked 2500K on a 6770.

even though the user has only a 1440x900 monitor now, the 6870 will let him upgrade easily to a second or third monitor of the same size, or upgrade to a 1920x1080 model

Lol, I dont even know anymore you guys :pt1cable: I just dont. You know more than me, that if i buy something I dont like i can always exchange it like if i didnt like the non OC edition of the i5 i could always get the k series.( but it would cost 220 $ XD) So what im trying to get out of this is that, I just want a system that will run the latest games on like 1440X900 and I will stick with one moniter tho, So I think the 6850 with the core i5 is the best build..though idk bout the amd one. I havnt been on the forums In ALONG time so im trying to remember everything. And I really do appreciate this ;)
