Im working on a new system, and i would like to know what you guys thought about it

CASE: Cooler Master Comos
CPU: Intel E6750
MOBO: EVGA 680i A1 version
GPU: EVGA 8800GT
RAM: not sure probably ocz or corsiar
HDD: Seagate 250GB
AUDIO: X-Fi Extreme Gamer

How will you use the machine and what is your budget?

It will be used mainly for gaming, and budget is about $2000CAD

No, don't get the EVGA 680i. It doesn't support 45nm Penryn. If you must get 680i, go with ASUS & DFI. Personally, I would be getting 780i if I were going for a SLI build.

For gaming right now unless you're planning to run SLI, your best bet would be a P35 either Gigabyte P35 DS3L or ASUS P5K E with or without WIFE, same price, the latter has more features, 6 SATA connectors, 3 PCI slots, eSATA, firewire, and WIFI on board if you choose that board but will cost you about $40 more. I think the $40 is worth it but depends on what you need. All those boards will run the Penryn. For gaming I'd go with the E6750
