New builded pc doesn't show anything on monitor

Hello,

So i have just build my new pc.
All the fan's turn on and even the led on my gpu turns on. I plugged a hdmi cable into the gpu and to my monitor. When i turn it on the monitor stays off. So it just doesn't get any signal from the pc. How can i fix this?
