New builder attempting a Llano build, please advise...

Brand new to the forums, so please forgive me if I'm not asking correctly for adivce for this.
Just seeing if anyone has any recommendations or advice, or criticisms for this build.
I am a first time builder and will be using my two 500mb SATA II drives from my previous system, as I don't feel I need more than that, but didn't know if I should maybe pick up a SATA 6 drive for the speed. Also using my DVD/CD burner from the previous system.

Your better off just getting a Phenom 955 if your not planning on using onboard as the A8-3850 uses an Athlon II processor.

Few things that you should know. Llano APUs are good no doubt. Its main selling point is the capable on die GPU. Since you plan here on using a reasonably powerful discrete GPU, the whole thing of buying a Llano CPU makes no sense.
Also 16 GB of RAM is not needed even if are into heavy multi-tasking. 8GB is more than sufficient. Here's my suggestion the Intel way :

CPU & Motherboard : $333- i5-2500K & MSI P67A G45 (review of i5-2500K)

PSU & RAM : $175- GSkill RipjawX (2X 4GB) & Thermaltake Black Widow 850 (80 plus bronze, modular )

GPU: $235- EVGA GTX 560Ti

Rebates: 70 USD

So I would be incorrect in thinking that adding the extra card would act in a Crossfire capacity in this build?

The main reason for that would be to help with the various graphic design tasks required by this computer.

The card would not work in CF with the HD 6850.
