Hello everyone, first time builder here. I started putting my build together yesterday and everything went well until I noticed 2 bent pins on my board, which I had just bought earlier in the day. Cannot get the header onto the pins which is kind of upsetting. Is there any way around this? The store is a 40 minute drive from me and I don't want to really take another trip down there. Just wondering if it's safe to try and bend them back a bit and how I would go about doing so, thanks in advance.

The board is a Asus x99 Deluxe also, if that helps

Solution
Just try to "gently" push them into forward stance so they don't brake.

I have done this to my CPU socket when I "unintentionally" bent them.It works for the most part.

One thing I would recommend is-
Get your sorry arse to the shop you bought it from and either slam it in their face and get your money back cause obviously that is not what you paid for or just demand a replacement.
