I built a brand new pc. All worked well. When I went to insert the graphics card for some reason the computer shut down. When I turned it back on, everything is running, except the LED lights or the on light does not light up and I can't get the monitor to respond. I only have 3 days using it. What causes this and is there a way to solve it? Pl ase help.

I have a Gigabyte Gaming 3 Motherboard

Given the history, at least the mobo is dead, get a new mobo, get ready to buy new everything else until it works.

This is the outcome of plugging things in whilst switched on.

It will not be the switch.

I am assuming you have plugged everything in correctly.
You're inserting the graphics card whilst the computer is on?

Turn off the computer, take out the power from your computer, PRESS THE POWER BUTTON (discharge the computer), INSERT the graphics card and then plug the computer back in and try it.

I don't recommend you insert the GPU whilst the computer is on.

^ What he said 😀

You can short out any of the components in the computer build EASILY by inserting someething when it's on.

Who's to tell that you may have shorted the LED part of the GPU but try the fix first.

I did what was told and nothing fans and gpu turn on psu is on but the power botton and mobo led lights don't turn on checked the CPU looks fine I inserted again just in case also the light on my keyboard and mouse don't turn on and no display monitor

I did I removed all ram the ssd the gpu I even removed the psu and insert it back to the mobo and it still acts the same I read online I'm supposed to hear a beep to let me know what's wrong so with just the CPU mobo and psu it turns on the fans come up the psu fan runs but no led lights or display signal

I don't know if it's the ON button as I read some guy had a issue with it
