New Built PC turns on but I cant get it to connect to tv/monitor

Hello, So I just built a pc and cant figure out why it wont connect to my tv. It turns on and all fans turn on(except my graphics cards fan turns on for like 20 seconds then it stops). I dont know the cause of this and really need help. Thanks!
I have tried:
Reseating every part
Making sure no wires are touching the motherboard
Removing the io shield
changing slots of the plugs in the power supply
Tried with one ram instead of 2
Tried without reset button pluged in
--I Know 100% nothing is wrong with the tv

have you tried a different cnnector on your card like dvi or hdmi, displayport if you have a pc monitor that supports it? do you have a different videocard or onboard gpu you can test with? the fans of modern day gpus don't always turn, they turn at boot then possibly stop to restart if you boost gpuclock on aplication.

so the graphics card fans dont move unless they heat up? Also no i have not tried a dvi have tried hdmi(blank black screen when using hdmi, i heard that is because i dont have required drivers installed for hdmi).

on my rig the tv works of windows display driver at install, so it shouldn't be drivers. Sound hardware, but without more thing to go on than just it boots and does nothing, it is difficult to pinpoint whats wrong. Try swapping out some parts if you have spares. other GPU, other RAM, just one stick of ram. Its going to take some more trouble shooting from you if you want more advice.

Ok, but real quick do you think the mobo could have something to do with this. I can get it sent back if so.

it could be, but i would make sure it isn't the videocard or ram before you do, 'cause if there is nothing wrong with the mobo you'll have to pay extra examination costs+shipping
