Hi guys, I am in the market for used Xeon CPUs (for a dual CPU motherboard). I see excellent prices for the X5500 and X5600 series. I have been checking out numerous online vendors that sell these CPUs and I have also been monitoring eBay auctions. Wherever I find low prices, they are marked as any of the following:

Factory Refurbished
Seller Refurbished
New Bulk
New Bulk Pack
New Pulls

For each one of the above, (especially the bottom three), could you please state:

1- What does it basically mean?
2- Is that condition reliable?
3- Will it will perform very similar to a brand new one?

Bulk or Bulk Pack Items are new items received in perfect condition directly from suppliers or manufacturers without retail packaging to reduce the overall cost. Bulk Pack items are often shipped in non-descriptive boxes, bubble wrap pouches, or small plastic cases for protection during shipping. In some cases Bulk Packaging can also mean, only the main product without any accessories or documentation. If this is the case, it will be noted in the product description. Being a brand new product, Bulk Pack items hold the same warranty terms as retail versions.

For Pull items there area ctually two categories, one is System Pull and the other is New Pull. In system Pull, it means that component is taken out from he system and is being...

Prefer Factory Refurbished item over Seller refurbished one to be sure that it is refurbished from the manufacturer.
