I have Dish wireless internet and had their C1000A rental combo. It stopped working so instead of paying the rental i just purchased one online. It had Century link logo on it if that matters or not. So i hooked it all up just as the old one was hooked up and not sure what to do from here. Do I need to register all the information on bottom with Dish or do I need to go in manually and change stuff on the computer. This is all new to me and have always had Dish come out and do it for me since I was paying the rental fee which I am not. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

You are going to have to more clearly describe what you are doing. The standard way that device runs is you hook a phone cable to the DSL port to get internet.

You might be able to hook it to some box that DISH uses with a ethernet cable and then get WiFi from the c1000a. I can not see a way to use the c1000a without physically cabling it to something.
I have Dishnet which is the internet provided by Dish. My box is a c1000a which can be hooked up wirelessly. It stopped working (the box wont power on) so i bought a replacement but cant and don't know what to do from here after connecting it the exact same way the other box was.
