I need a new card for Halo because my TNT2 M64 isn't supported What's the best card for under $100 for my system??? 700mhz athlon,192 mb. ram 20 gig hd.???

Under $100 U.S. Dollars?? I think the best card for under $100 is probably the GeForce4 Ti4200, although I don't think it would run Halo very well...

Check out pricewatch.com, they are showing an FX5600 128MB card for $99 with free shipping, or an ATI 9600 NON PRO for right around $100....If you could cough up an extra $40 or so you might find a 9600 Pro

I'm thinking of just upgrading to a 1.3ghz athlon, 256 mb ram,and a 64meg GeForce3 Ti 200 for about $200. But thanks anyway.

Don't think your going to be able to play Halo for under $100. There are some guys who have 3ghz systems and 9800Pro's that can't run halo very well. I'd go with the upgrade route you suggested instead, that is, get the athlong, ram and geforce 3.

Move your Ram up another 256. That's if your still playing Halo.

The CPU and RAM upgrade is a good idea, but don't get a Ti200, that's just plain crap by todays standards. Get at least the TI4200, which is much better than a Ti200, and can be had for around $80 US.

That's what my friend and me thought about just doing instead to get the ti4200 and also do you guys know where I can find a retail 1.3 athlon??? Ok this is my revised plan 1.3ghz AMD Athlon 200fsb, 256 megs of PC1600, and 64mb. Nvidia GeForce 4 TI 4200. How that for $200 till I can afford my new computer???

GeForce4 Ti4200 64 MB is the best sub $100 graphics card.

If your mobo isn't slot A, then it should support Athlon 1.3 GHz
