Hey guys and gals. I just got a new tower recently and got back to my apt to transfer all of my stuff into the new full tower. Everything went smoothly until i started her up... Things wont download, my GPU driver got dumped for some reason and for a majority of applications and such my PC will just freeze now. Had absolutely no issues before, and i have no idea what to do now short of attempting a system restore (provided that doesnt freeze as well.) The ONLY changes that were made to the system before was the new tower and a new monitor. Other than that everything else is the exact same as before yet now everything has gone to crap in a handbasket 🙁 If you guys need any other info from me let me know and ill get it to you ASAP.

So you know what I've already tried:
Disk-Error Check (Froze)
Start in safe mode with networking to get drivers back (Froze after downloading file and wouldn't open)
also it now wont let me open my downloads folder (as it freezes...)

Solution
I would recommend shutting it down, disconnecting your drives, GPU and any PCI/PCI-E add-on components, then boot to BIOS. If no issues, then shut down again and reconnect just your OS drive. If no problems, add in additional drives and add-on/peripheral one by one.

Stop the process as soon as you note any issues - this will help localize the problem. Then post the problem noted and the stage your were at when it appeared. This will give us a better idea of what remedial actions to recommend. It's possible that something was damaged in the transfer process.

I'm assuming you're posting from a different PC or from a mobile platform?

Ok, so I did as you put above, and each time it booted to BIOS fine and i didnt notice any issues. Maybe more detail on the problem itself will help? So after the PC boots (Which it always has fine) and the startup programs launch, it seems that the PC is kind of "hanging" on random applications or even just randomly as I am clicking around. Internet browsers work fine, and I've tried what I know and it hasnt worked to fix it. Nothing is reported in the event viewer, and no error messages pop up, other than the one telling me that my GPU driver isnt there (which it dumped the first time i started the PC in the new tower.) The system itself seems to be a lot slower than it was originally which leads me to believe it may be the HDD, however i cant run anything to check it as the system always hangs before the diagnostics start
