Hi guys/gals,
My question is about the new Lian Li Lancool iii. This case comes with pre-installed fans and a built in rgb controller that is actually part of the IO panel. One button for color the other for lighting mode. My question is, do I have to use the sata power cable that is intergrated into the IO panel for the RGBs and or the fans themselves, or can I bypass it and control the RBGs with Signal RGB Software? I'm also running 4 corsair LL140s and have 2 Lian Li strimers connected to their own controllers. The built in controller is basically for the 3 front and 1 rear fan that came with the case. Hope I explained that property. The initial reason for this post is I ran out of sata power connections and wanted to know if I need to by a sata power splitter or if I could use the one that the pre installed stuff is connected to.
My system consists of:
Asus Tufgaming B550-PLUS wifi ii
Ryzen 7 5800X
Corsair Vengeance pro 32GB
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 super

I've worked with the Lancool II Mesh RGB chassis, the SATA power input is to provide supplemental power to the controller on the case. The ARGB header that it hooks to is necessary for the signal off of the board. If you press the mode button 7 times, it allows all fans/devices hooked tot he controller on the case, to be sync'd to the board.

Please note that the fans that come with the Lian-Li case are proprietary but with an adapter you can hook them up to an ARGB header/splitter of choice.

I'm trying to bypass Chassis control altogether and just use software. What would I have to do in order for that to work. This way ALL my RGBs will be in sync. Hiw would I connect the pre installed fans?
