Hi guys/gals,
My question is about the new Lian Li Lancool iii. This case comes with pre-installed fans and a built in rgb controller that is actually part of the IO panel. One button for color the other for lighting mode. My question is, do I have to use the sata power cable that is intergrated into the IO panel for the RGBs and or the fans themselves, or can I bypass it and control the RBGs with Signal RGB Software? I'm also running 4 corsair LL140s and have 2 Lian Li strimers connected to their own controllers. The built in controller is basically for the 3 front and 1 rear fan that came with the case. Hope I explained that property. The initial reason for this post is I ran out of sata power connections and wanted to know if I need to by a sata power splitter or if I could use the one that the pre installed stuff is connected to.
My system consists of:
Asus Tufgaming B550-PLUS wifi ii
Ryzen 7 5800X
Corsair Vengeance pro 32GB
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 super
