New case,different temperature

Just put my pc into a new case,now my cpu temp has rocketed from between 25-35 at idle to over 80 c.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Full specs list, dont leave anything out, also tell us or post pictures of your fan setup. 80c is damn high for iddle.

With the amount of information provided, my guess is that the CPU cooler isn't making good contact with the CPU. Try to reseat the heatsink and ensure it is fitted tightly to the motherboard.

Not really enough detail here to speculate all that well. What case to what case, all the case fans running, what CPU, etc?

Without any more info given either the fan on the CPU cooler isn't running or you did something to the cooler mount. If you can verify the CPU coolers fan is running I would highly consider remounting the CPU cooler.

Hi I got a h100i v2 in a push configuration,6700k stock.Going to try some fresh thermal paste see if that will help
