New case or new monitor

Hello hello!

How are you today?
I have a quick question for you... well I just need you opinion on something...

I currently have a Thermaltake Versa N21, which did everything wrong except it's looks. The biggest problem that I have with it is the airflow, which sucks.

Now I have been looking to buy a new case and I decided on the Cooler Master MasterCase Maker 5 which costs 200€ in my country. But on the other hand I also wonna buy a 144Hz monitor for gaming. Since most games can't keep a steady 60FPS with V-Sync on (eg.: PUBG). The screen I choose is Asus VG248QE, it is a TN pannel with poor view angles, but it's 1920x1080, 1ms and 144Hz, without FreeSync or G-Sync.. It is enough for me and it costs 268.88 €.

Then comes my next problem and the reason I need better airflow, and that is my 980ti Strix. For example, when I turn off the V-Sync and let the card blazing it reaches the temps in mid 80°C (Playing PUBG that is...)
This is what is bugging me... Should I get the new case and potentially cool my GPU a bit, or get a new screen and enjoy 100+ FPS without any screen tearing?

I will get the other product afterwars, but not any time soon...

NOTE: Prolonged gaming with my GPU temps in 80s does heat up my current case pretty well, and the rest of my components suffer..

Thank you all for participating (reading at least) in advance!

That case is very expensive... I wouldn't pay that much for one. Where do you live/is going to buy it from?

What you mean that games can't keep steady 60 fps? PUBG isn't a game that should be taken into account when measuring PCs performance, since that games is terribly optimized.

And, with your NVIDIA card i wouldn't spend get a monitor without G-Sync, it will considerably help your gaming experience. Also that's a TN panel, i'd recommend a IPS one (the response time doesn't matter that much when you see the color difference between both, IMHO).

For the high temps, not really safe, but not really worrying. Open up your case, clean it and perhaps leave it's side panel open, allowing more air entrance therefore lowering temps if the...

If it was up to me, i'd definitely get a new monitor, as temps issues are much easier solved then bad looks on screen.
