Looking to get a new case. Been looking at a few on google images but want to get some suggestions. I would like one with a full see through panel, dvd reader slot and removable dust filter. Currently have a corsair graphite 230t. Its ok but I have to disassemble half the pc to remove the front dust screen. Been looking for a way to remove the drive rack to get more airflow as the rack renders bottom fan almost useless.

You do have to remove the front to remove the filter. But I just use some canned air on the front vents and it removes the dust. No need really to get at the front filter.

I have both cases, and I like the R6 the most. But I have lower temps (and higher noise) in the Phanteks. I also think the R6 is a little cheaper.

Lian-Li all the way baby

the one on that page is probably what you want. Industrial CLEANABLE filters too, laser cut, no sharp edges means no cuts when building and maintaining. Aluminum for great strength and VERY light weight

check this one

room for EVERYTHING, easy to get to and work with, etc... I use them and LOVE them. they last for many decades too, you will probably get sick of it before you need a new one.

holy canoli, now I want one of those!! darn it all.

the fact that you will never cut yourself on their cases is enough for me. hands down win, plus the pc is light, plus magnetic cleanable filters and room for tons of fans and stuff.

make sure to check that page i posted out, all the way down, look at the cooling options! 3d cooling. the magnetic screens come off very easy, i don't think you need to pop off much with this case. access to everything is excellent, as are most all their cases. every one I have had so far. tooless too, thumbscrews.

I have the NZXT H700i. It's built similarly to R6. If I'm correct, the front piece comes off from the bottom. You just have to give it a small tug.

When I built mine, my case choices came down to the H700i, the R6, and the Meshify C. All of them seemed to be good choices!

Check out HardwareCanucks on Youtube. They do top notch case reviews.

Optical drive support on PC cases are becoming very rare. I still have a blu ray drive in mine to rip movies. But it will cut down on your options. So think about it if you really need an optical drive. Because all software in 2018 is available for digital download. You just don't need those CD's anymore.

Another option is to get an external optical drive and connect it via usb. That way you can still use it when you need it and put it away when you don't. It will open up your options for cases by avoiding the 5.5 bays.
