I just moved all my hardware over from a Fractal R4 to a NZXT H440. The internals stayed the same. I never even removed the cooler from the motherboard.

In my old case I was getting 23C-25C idle temps and low 60's C when gaming.

The new NZXT H440 case is giving me 54C-59C while idle and steady 80's when just watching a 720p YouTube video. (peaked at 92C). I don't dare try any games at the moment.

The airflow direction in the case is set up the same as the prior case. What the heck is going on??

Solution
You will have to remove the cooler, clean the old thermal paste and e-apply fresh paste. I suspect something shook loose during the transfer.
