Question New case with SATA power connector - Sorted

Hi

Have got a new case and it has a sata power connector for the fan controller. However there is nowhere on the motherboard or coming from the psu to plug it in.. Am i being totally useless or is there a convertor i can get?

You might want to pass on a link to the case you speak of. As of this moment it reads very vague. If there are no links, you might want to include images of your case. Might want to also include the make and model of your motherboard.

You connect it to PSU (not motherboard).
Your PSU should have extra free SATA power plug coming from it.

Its a coolmaster 540 case if that helps. Was trying to post a pic but cant seem to add a t moment

What model PSU do you have? Model name is written on PSU info label.
