Question New cmos battery installed and now computer only runs on internal gpu

Hi hoping someone can help. So before I had to do some steps like boot the pc in safe mode and disable something to make it work but cant find the site I was following the steps from before. But now after installing new cmos battery I had to remove the gpu in order for the pc to boot to set it up again. With the gpu installed the computer turns on but no screen and the fans just spin at full speed. It did this last time also. I'm using a radeon hd 8570 gpu in my old dell Intel d540. There are no options in bios for gpu settings.

Do you have the option in the bios to turn on compatibility support (CSM)? or put the bios into legacy or hybrid mode?
