A new build leaves me with a blank monitor screen. Changed memory ddr 2 times, using new Crucial. Mobo Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0 ...per manual solid light on memory ok part of mobo means mobo not reeding memory. push memory button on mobo until blinks,this starts the connection.still no screen. Is mobo bad? How to check it? Anybody have thoughts on cause of black screen? Thanks

make sure the mb not shorting out and the 8 pin power locked in. try the mb outside the case to see if it posts.
