New components for gaming ?

Hello guys,

I am hesitating buying new CPU and Memory but i'm wondering if it's really needed. I got :

I5 2500K @ 3.4 GHZ , CPU
10 GB @ 1333 MHZ Memory
ASUS GTX 780 DCII 3GB GPU
ASUS P8Z68-v LE Mother Board

I use my computer most of time for gaming.

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z68V_LE/specifications/ its dual channel ram. 10gb won't run properly on it. get 2 x 4gb 1866 cl9 1.5v ram for it.

The i5 2500k is fantastic.

Thanks i7Baby, Ok, i didn't know if the i5 2500k was still a good cpu but it seems to. Ok for the ram, i'll buy new ones.

Your ram is 1333mhz. For today, you will need 1600mhz ram. I suggest 8gb. On the other hand, 1866 is not much more expensive
On the end the ram speed is up to you as you know what is in your pocket
