Hi,

Recently ordered components so I can build my own rig.

Specs:
AMD FX-4300 Black Edition (Quadcore 3.8GHz)
Sapphire Radeon R9 270x 2GB GDDR5 (W/ BF4)
Cooler Master G650M, 650W PSU
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz, 4GB CL9
MSI 970A-G43, Socket AM3+
And my HDD from my laptop, S-ATA, haha 😀
Windows 7 64bit.

The only games I play is World of Warcraft, and Battlefield 4. I know it will run WoW without any problems, but will it run BF4, and if so, at what graphics settings, approx? I doubt I can run it on ultra, but Medium is enough for me, hehe. Will it work? :)

Yea, I had that in my mind too. The amount of RAM is just temporary, because my budget wasnt so high. Either way, I called the company who had the components, and he said I will be able to play BF4 with high settings. And that's defo fine with me. Tho, my main game is WoW :)

No not with 4gb of ram and that processor. You will be heavily limited in fps at high settings in bf4. I have 8gb of ram and my usage while playing bf4 gets up too 60%+ meaning im using more than 4gb. If you overclock that processor you may squeeze by but thats a limited cpu as well. Rest of the system looks good just another 4gb ram and a fx6300 like stated. Why spend money on stuff you arent really sure about only to spend more later to replace it? Save and do it right the first time.

Because I want a rig so I can start raiding with my guild again, that's the main reason. BF4 is just a + if it can handle it. It's not a demand actually.. WoW is a demand though, haha. I will overclock the CPU abit, yes. But im not that kind of person that isnt satisfied if they have less than 50 FPS. I am used to play at 20 FPS at low settings, so I am very satisfied if I can play BF4 with 40fps at low/medium. Either way, if im not happy with the setup, I can always return the item I am not satisfied with. I have never had any pc with this setup, so I am extremely happy over this 😛 But as stated, I will OC the CPU abit and buy another stick of 4GB in soon future. Now, I can play WoW and raid with my guild, thats my main reason :)

Ok, thank you! :) My budget has been ripped at the moment, so I cannot buy anything more. I will have a good look at the temperature, to see if and how much it allows me to OC. What is the absolutely max temperature on both GPU and CPU, according to you? I believe that anything over 90 degrees celsius, is critical. My current laptop have 80 degrees celsius at idle/surfing, lol..

And about case fans. I have 2 case fans atm, I dont know size, but optimal is one fan blowing in, and one out, right?
