Going to put this together and purchase if no one has a reason why not to or a suggested change.

Use: Steam Games (Fallout 3, New Vegas, Age of Wonders, Starcraft, Diablo, etc). Other normal internet usage.

Have: Monitor, keyboard, mouse.
Need: Everything but the above including OP

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Ram: Patriot Viper 4 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
HD: Have a 500gb ssd I just bought.
Video Card: Radeon R9 380 (Unless I Can find a good deal on the 390)
Case: Silverstone PS08B (Black) MicroATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
OP: Windows 10

If you noticed this is SR-71's "SKYLAKE 'VX Micro Beast' EDITION" build on the under 750 poll.

Any changes due to price drop or sales?

Any particular reason for going with a Skylake build? Or it's just because it's new platform.

No reason other than it was first in the poll. I dropped the 380 down to the 370 to save a little money.

This is only going to be a temp build until next years pascals are released when I build my monster 4k gaming rig. For now I just need something.

Well decided to build the above but with the 390. Going to click check out at 8pm.

Ended up with SR-71's "SKYLAKE 'VX Micro Beast' EDITION" build other than I have a SSD and a different case. Guess since it won that poll they are compatible and good bang for my buck.
